How to wrap a bottle with fabric gift wrap

Wrapping a bottle with fabric gift wrap creates a beautifully wrapped gift without wrapping paper, tape or scissors. This method uses two opposite corners to secure the bottle, with the option to create a carry handle and finish with a bow.

Wrap your bottle step by step

  1. Place the bottle in the centre of the fabric gift wrap.
  2. Bring two diagonally opposite corners together and tie them securely.
  3. If you have enough fabric, twist those tied ends together and knot them again to create a carry handle.
  4. Bring the remaining two corners around the bottle and tie them together to form a bow. Adjust the folds until you are happy with the finish.


Make it your own

For an extra thoughtful finish, tuck a little greenery, dried flowers or seasonal foliage into the folds, or use ribbon or string you already have to add your own detail.
